18th Century Antique Anglo Irish Large Oak and Brass Peat Bucket

For your consideration I offer this handsome 18th century oak and brass Anglo Irish Georgian peat bucket.   This gorgeous piece was purchased at auction in Ireland and comes from an Anglo-Irish stately home.  The coopered, hand hewn oak has a pleasing warm, reddish hue much closer to the color in the first image.  The oval barrel stands approximately 19" tall by 17.25" deep by 20.5" wide exclusive of the handles.  The hardware appears to all be original, heavy handcrafted brass.  The piece remains in excellent antique condition commensurate with age and careful use. The only exception I can find is the loss of one brass screw (last image).  A dandy piece crafted to last a lifetime that would make an attractive addition to any hearth.  Due to the size, value and weight of the piece I am guesstimating 0.00 freight to ship in the continental US.  Any amount less than 0.00 will be refunded to the buyer.
