    This is a press kit for the
    48th Academy Awards that took place on March 29th, 1976. Just was is shown in the photos is in this sale. I would assume there was a folder of some sort but I can't find another online to compare. This was the first year that ABC took over the broadcasts from NBC. It includes 2 pages with the major nominees, 2 pages of facts, a page with "surprises" and a page with mini versions of flyers. The surprise page has a fold. The pages have corner dings.
    The pages measure 8.5 by 11 inches.
    This item is from the estate of Ed Diamond of Palm Desert who operated a Hollywood Memorabilia Store until his death in the early 1990s.
