This is a very beautiful piece from the 1930s, during the great depression.Comprised of Walnut Wood salvaged from old cigar boxes this piece is either folk art or tramp art.A diminutive hinge top jewelry box with all over intricate carvings featuring floral motifs. The top case is accentuated with pearl inlay. The interior fabric liner is original or possibly an early replacement and is mostly a uniform patina throughout.... The two hinges probably come from the original cigar box..
