Offered here for your consideration is an
Antique American Grain Painted Fireplace Mantel from the 19th century. It is in overall good condition with square nail construction. Has losses and oxidation to paint on feet, sides, top and front board (left of center.) Spots of loss, scratches, scuffing, checking and age cracks. Top of mantel wobbles slightly. Holes from nails and other signs of expected light wear commensurate with age.
Measurements: top shelf width= 65.5"W (5 FT 5.5"W), under top shelf width= 62.75"W (5 FT 2.75"W), firebox opening= 45.5"H (3 FT 9.5"H), 47.65"W (3 FT 11.65"W.)
