A neat antique item that is often known as a fireplace jack.  It is a clockwork device that you hang over the fire then hang your goose or other piece of meat to roast that automatically turns it for you.  This is not in working condition and there is not key.  No apparent makers mark, offered as-is.  Measures about 12" long overall.
