Antique Cambridge Encaustic Fireplace Tile, 6" x 1.5", Brown & Green Glaze
This early 1900's Cambridge Ceramic Fireplace tile features an artful, mottled brown and green glaze. The glossy tiles measure 6" x 1.5", and are 1/2" thick.
Designed for use in a high heat environment, the tiles are designed to be set around a fireplace but would be a beautiful addition to a backsplash, shower trim or art project.
Maker's Mark: Each tile shows the "Cambridge" manufacturer's mark on the back.
Condition: Very good. Some surface scuffs and edge chips. Expected and beautiful glaze crazing. Some still have pieces of mortar attached but are in useable condition.
