    An Antique Cast Iron Fireplace Back Plate, Heat Reflector, Heat Shield. Dates from the 1890's to very early 1900's.
    This cast iron back plate is in very good used condition with no cracks or breaks. It measures 28 3/4" x 20 1/4" x 1/2" thick. It's one of the heaviest back plates I've dealt with weighing in at 90 to 100 pounds or more.
    Shipping is totally out of the question. It can be seen and picked up at Twin Tiers Antiques Plaza, 67 West Market Street, Corning, NY.  We're open every day, year round.
