    This auction is for an extremely rare antique 1800s Civil War Union Cavalry cast iron fireplace cover. It looks very much like Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain of the 20th Maine but have no proof it is actually him depicted. Riding horse with sword by his side. Has quite a bit of rust and pitting. Absolutely fantastic piece for any Civil War collector. Measures approx. 21 inches tall at its tallest point x 15 1/2 inches wide. New York buyers will be charged a 7 percent sales tax.
