    Antique Art Nouveau era French .800 silver figural parasol handle, umbrella or dress cane handle. In the form of an eagle or crane's head. Complete with glass eyes. hallmarked with the French head of the wild boar, in use from 1838 to indicate a silver content of .800/1000. Bearing maker's marks for Eugène Lefebvre, active 1896 to 1910 at 14 bis rue des Minimes, Paris. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age. The handle measures 3 1/2" height x 3 1/2" length x 5/8" width, with a a 1/2" diameter opening at the bottom. Weighs 34.4 grams.
