Description
This is a great fireplace mantel
that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It is made of oak and is painted.
There is a small shelf along the very top with a beveled mirror trimmed in egg and dart molding below.
Below the mirror is a shelf supported by 2 ornate corbels.
The detail on the corbels is likely a composition material but it is in good shape with no breaks.
Measurements are 59.75 inches wide, 69.75 tall and 11.75 deep.
The opening is 35.5 inches wide by 36 tall.
Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
