Antique Solid Brass Bed Warming Pan Sestor Brand Made in England!

Description

This is an Antique Solid Brass Bed Warming Pan with a hinged Lid and holes on the Lid for transferring heat!
It was Made in England by Sestor which is stamped on the inside bottom portion of the Pan! It could probably use a bit of polishing but it is in very Good Condition!
The Pan portion of the Bed Warmer measures 7-1/2” in diameter and it is approximately 2-1/2”
- 3”
deep!
It has a Unique Solid Brass Handle and the Bed Warmer measures 21” long including the Solid Brass Handle!
The Brass Handle has a Hole so you can easily hang it on the wall by a Bed or by a Fireplace!
I was recently told that now days they are being used to Roast Chestnuts in the Fireplace but I never tried that!
