Featuring An Elegantly Designed Eight-Pointed Star Motif Front. Measures 25 5/8" tall x 20" wide.
Don't
see any markings or numbers. Looks thin metal like tin and magnetic, weighing 3 pounds. Still has nice copper wash and this one has two knob handles. There are dings, dents, bends, kinks, creases, scuffs and scratches so far from perfect.
Also Cast Iron Fireplace Top, numbered 1485 & 34. Measures 24 5/8" long with center height of 6" and ends taper down a bit to 5 1/4" tall. Heavy cast iron metal and magnetic weighing close to 6 1/2 pounds. Has its scuffs and scratches, surface rusting,
Also 2 damaged cast iron and magnetic side sections pictured, both numbered 1485 & 49. Measure 25 1/4" tall not counting broke off bolt hole sections and 2 1/2" wide not counting center brackets. Very strange that this 3 piece unit with 2 cast iron sides and cast iron top was removed connected to the complete tiled fireplace front wall, and of course the 2 tops sections with the bolt holes snapped/ broke off bolted to the cast iron top. Have 2 original copper wash bolts.
Top did sit well on the 2 side even with the breaks cause sides screw in place on the jambs, so this tweakable/ usable if your doing the installation yourself and handy or try tack weld the broke tops, they are clean breaks and go together well. Or just use the top and front for your Victorian fireplace project.
Vintage condition with scratches, scuffs, tarnishing greening oxidation on metal, both side top bolt sections broke off and included, Once restored or installed should look magnificent!
