Charming vintage walking stick cane, handle is a figural dog head - stylized pug or bulldog. These were highly coveted at local Carnivals as prizes circa 1940's and fun to collect. 33" tall, all original red paint and twine. Marked "Japan" on bottom of dog head.  Wear to paint as shown and expected, head of pup is very good with some marks that I didn't try to clean at all. Cute face, nice addition to your collection!
