    Colonial to Civil War era Wrought Iron Fireplace Andiron, 6 pounds, Antique. A single only. Found around a burned out 1820's Virginia house place.
    It has been out in the weather for a long time, and shows a lot of early character. I do not understand the tapered back spike that does not have a leg on it unless it went into a hole in the back wall. Dimensions are 15" high x 8" wide x 13" long,
