Custom made to order rustic wood fireplace mantels. Perfect for a home décor of farmhouse, country, lodge or log cabin theme style. I handcraft these floating mantel shelves from 3/4 inch thick solid pine wood. The shelf is hollow inside.
The wood is rough sawn with a chain saw by hand, hand-hewn with chisel, the edges grinded, wire wheeled to give a deep raised grain, and the wood is scorched with a flame to add character, age and bring out the grain. I finish it with the stain you pick from the color chart. One price for any size between 60" and 84". Just tell me the exact length and color you would like and I will
custom make to your specifications. Comes with or without the steel corner brackets, your choice. They are hollow and they slide onto a hidden mounting plate that you mount on your wall with heavy duty drywall butterfly type toggles. The mounting plate and wall anchors are included with printed directions. Actual Size is 5.5" high on the face and 6.25" deep.
