This silver Jewish War shekel was struck in Jerusalem in the year 68/69 A.D./C.E. by the Jews which had rebelled against the Romans. It is believed that they were actually struck in the temple itself! The reverse (tails) of this coin has the inscription "Jerusalem [the] holy" in Paleo Hebrew.
