    Description

    This is a handmade wooden music instrument made in the first half of the XX century. It is a Macedonian old, primitive music instrument very similar to the Turkish 'duduk' known as 'Shupelka'. It has 6 holes and range of two octaves except for the low tone  of the lower octave. It was indispensable of every folklore music performance in the past.
    It is ussualy made of walnut, maple wood or in some cases made of dogwood.
    It is used, is playing with the three middle fingers of both hands and its holding under angle of 45 degrees.
    The length of this instrument is 38 cm.
