This is a great piece
that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It is made of mixed woods and is painted.
The shelf is trimmed in dentil molding and supported by pilasters on the legs with gesso embellishments at the top.
The breast has a raised panel in the middle with an applied gesso urn in the middle.
Overall it is 60 inches wide by 57.75 tall and 10 deep.
The opening is 38.25 inches wide by 42.5 tall.
Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning.
The right side mounting board is missing. A few of the dentils are damaged. The shelf has fire damage in one place along the back. Please look at the pictures carefully.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
