BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE BRASS FIREPLACE ANDIRONS.
They come from a private estate collection and are thought to be quite old and valuable, most likely from the Georgian era. They were purchased for ,000 in the 1960's from a private party that had them displayed in their mansion on the east coast. Each andiron measures approximately 27" in height from base foot to finial tip, approximately 24" in depth including wrought iron shank, and approximately 12" in leg width. They are quite heavy and bulky so shipment will be by crated freight shipment with insurance, which is more expensive. Please note that these andirons are antiques and not brand new so they do have typical signs of aging that you would expect with antique andirons, but these marks add to the charm; as you can see in the pictures, these andirons really are quite spectacular.
