This beautiful, Mission style mantel was salvaged from an early 1800's Greek Revival farm house in Pennsylvania. It features quarter sawn oak veneer, a beveled mirror and bow front. The original manufacturer's label is affixed to the back of the piece, reading "American Mantel Mfg. Co, Knoxville, TN". The manufacturer's label dates the piece to the early 1900's.
History: Salvaged from an early 1800's Greek Revival Farm House in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. This salvage job was featured on the DIY network show "Salvage Dawgs", Season 6, Episode 2.

Condition: Good condition for age. Overall solid piece with loose veneer in areas and some veneer loss. Scuffs and scratches as expected with age.
