rare antique 1800's French enameled cast iron fireplace coal scuttle bin bucket.

Description

Up for sale is a very high quality antique mid 19th century enameled cast iron French coal scuttle.
it's made of extremely thick iron, is a heavy piece weight 27 pounds, and finished with a thick light green enameling.
the hinged lid features a very ornate design done in high relief and has a handle on the end along with a small heat vent opening.
it has a beautiful tri-footed cast iron base with great ribbed legs.

antique condition and measures 18 1/2 inches long by 12 3/4 inches wide by 12 1/2 inches tall.
the enameling has some patina from age that can be removed if desired.
