Rustic Vintage 5 Gallon Galvanized Coal/Ash Bucket by Reeves, “USED”

This is a 5 gallon galvanized rustic vintage coal/ash bucket manufactured by Reeves in 1955. It was purchased and used by my grandmother, she would take out the ashes everyday and fill it up with coal to bring back in, till she passed in1969 and since them it was stored in one of our barns.
The two patent numbers stamped into the bottom, Pat. No. 1,756,585 refers to the buckets wall construction by R.J. Curtis filed on Nov. 10, 1927 and Pat. No.1,756.593 refers to the bottom construction by M.L. Hunker files on Dec. 6,1927, both patents issues on April 29, 1930.
The bucket itself is 13” round, the handles stick out another 1 ½” on each side, its 12” high, the bottom is 10 ¾” round and it weighs 12 pounds. It doesn’t leak;
condition is good with some expected scratches, minor dents and rust. It will be hard to find a 66 year old bucket in as good of shape and sturdy as this one is. This item is "USED".
It would be a great piece for someone’s collection or for display in a “Man Cave”.
