Snaps, Line 20 and Line 24

Here are some general guidelines for choosing which snap size you need to use:
Line 20 Snap with a short
15/64" post work best on 4-5 oz or thinner leather.These are just like the snaps that you find on coats, biker apparel and accessories, purses, clutches, saddle bags, etc.
Line 20 Snap with a 1/8" post also works best with 4-5 oz or thinner leather.
Line 20 Snaps with a 3/16" post are for 5-7 oz. leather and also work well with 4-5 oz leather.
Line 24 Snaps with a shorter than normal 1/4" post works best with 5-6 oz leather, but will also do well with leather that's an oz or two thinner.
Line 24 Snaps with what is considered a standard 5/16" post work will with heavier leathers like 7-9 oz or a little thicker like 9-10 oz. These are just like the snaps that you find on coats, biker apparel and accessories, purses, clutches, saddle bags, etc.
