VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A MATCHING SET OF FIREPLACE TOOLS LISTED SEPARATELY. BECAUSE OF THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THIS SET, IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO SHIP THE FIREPLACE TOOLS AND THE ANDIRONS IN TWO SEPARATE BOXES
This lovely pair of matched hammered metal andirons, with dramatic ball finials, is in very good vintage condition. These matching andirons have a square body, with large hanging rings in their fronts.
There is a matching fireplace tool set that consists of four pieces - a stand that holds a shovel. a poker, and tongs - listed in a separate auction.
This simple and dramatic set of andirons would be at home with Arts and Crafts/Craftsman style or many other decors.
This unique fireplace set would be a useful and beautifully decorative addition to your home.
The andirons are approx. 17 1/2” high, 9 1/2” wide, and 18 1/2” deep. I find no damage. The set might benefit from a cleaning, but I will leave that up to the buyer. The set is strong and sturdy and in very good vintage condition.
This matching fireplace set is a wonderful example of the design, artistry, and craftsmanship of metalwork design. It would be a unique, functional and beautiful addition to your home.
