Description

Leather is 2-3 oz. vegetable tanned calfskin - also known as - kipskin. Exceptionally clean,
even thickness,  yet extremely durable with 100's of uses in leather and sewing crafts.
These are short strips of 24 inches available in two widths of 2 inches or 4 inches.
Ideal for partitions, edge trimming and binding for wallets, folders, covers, bag edges or trim, books bindings, cases, portfolio edging, etc. Superior as a lining for belts, watch bands, cuffs, pads, etc. This is the go-to leather for any repair of handbag, purse, leather jacket, etc. This leather molds well and takes dye extremely well.
These strips of vachetta vegetable-tanned leather are used where durability and appearance is most important.
This leather can be dyed, stamped, molded or embossed.
If left untreated it will develop a natural rich tan patina common to this type of leather.
Sewing machine binding attachments can be used with this leather.
Strips are available in 2 widths - 2 inch and 4 inch
