    Description

    Item up for bid is a fantastic vintage carved wood folk art walking stick with a Canadian goose head on the top. This piece has a small face carved along the bottom with markings that look like they could be a signature though we cannot make it out. Staff of the stick shows a naive carved design. Face along the bottom and goose head have no eyes inserted into the holes. Item shows paint and finish wear from age and use with the wood showing no cracks or breaks. From top of the head to bottom it measures 32-5/8" in length with the staff measuring 1-3/8" across the bottom. From tip of the bill to bottom it measures 36" and from back of the head to tip of the bill it measures 6-4/8". Amazing piece that comes fresh to the market.
