Vintage drop down table/fireplace screen - Marquetry

Description

This classic folding table can also be used as a side table or as a fireplace screen ornament.  It has an inlaid marquetry style sailboat on the top that will enhance perfectly a nautical motif.  The legs and stand are made of oak, and the top is teak inlaid with maple and walnut to provide the details of the sailboat.  The legs and stand have a gloss finish, and the top has been lightly sanded in preparation for finishing as desired.  It will take very little time to place a finish on the top, whether the new owner desires a gloss finish or a matte treatment.  I have left the top natural for years, as I only use the table for a decorative piece. The age of the table is unknown, but would estimate that it was built in the 1930's.
