Vintage Antique Pierced Brass Fireplace Fender  42" wide x 11" Tall
This is a very nice vintage pierced brass fireplace fender.
The fender has graceful continuous curved corners. It features 2 rows of pierced designs of intertwining vines or branches that create a series of circular patterns with some leaves and flowers. On the lower part of the fender is a section without any piercings.
The 2 rows of pierced designs are separated with raised brass band with a rope twist design. The top of the fender has a rounded rail.
The fender is in good condition, with some tarnishing around the bottom rivets. As this piece is all brass (with the exception of the structural metal support on the inside bottom), the tarnishing should clean up nicely with a little polishing.
