*Antique French Solid Oak Fireplace Surround/Mantel Highly Carved with Lions

This antique fireplace surround is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is built from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color. The side panels on the fireplace do have slight cracks in them but are only noticeable upon close inspection (see photos). The lion carvings are very deep and three dimensional. Overall this antique mantel is in good condition with minor imperfections. Dimensions: 65" wide, 44.75" tall and 24" deep (front to back). The fireplace opening is 48.5" wide by 35" tall.
